Since our charter in 1919, Albert R. Atkinson, Jr. American Legion Post 210 has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. We provide a number of veterans' services, run youth programs, and host community events throughout the year. Please see our events calendar for more information.

To the wonderful, patriotic citizens of the Doylestown community, please consider donating to our Post. 100% of the monies raised are given back to the community. Help us to continue sponsoring Scholarships for our children; providing aid and assistance to our local Veterans, and their families in need. Your support will aid us to continue to financially support these and other worthy community programs and projects.

Eligibility to join the American Legion

In accordance with the LEGION Act (Let Everyone Get Involved In Opportunities for National Service Act) that was signed into law July 30, 2019, if you have served at least one day of active military duty between the period from April 6, 1917 through November 11, 1918 or at any time after December 7, 1941 to the present, and were honorably discharged, or you are still serving on active military duty honorably, you are eligible for membership in the American Legion.

UPDATE - Veterans Path of Honor

The Path of Honor is dedicated to all men and women who served honorably in defending the United States of America.

Albert R. Atkinson Jr. American Legion Post 210 in Doylestown is excited to place these memorial bricks in the Path of Honor that leads to the main entrance of the Legion Hall. This pathway is the place to visually remember and honor the service members who faithfully served their country.

We have completed our first phase as of the end of 2023 and are now taking orders for 2024.
